Gemma Fottles

British writer living la vida loca in Amsterdam. Editor at The SuperYacht Times, impassioned by all things travel.

A talented and passionate writer, since graduating university I have successfully pursued my passion as a profession. Relocating to Amsterdam following a temporary position as a global travel reporter several years ago, my current role as Print Editor for the international newspaper SuperYacht Times has endlessly elevated my writing standard and style, whilst providing me with professional experience in a vibrant and exciting industry within a rapidly expanding team. Since my first travel abroad, I have enjoyed indulging in writing about my experiences. Setting up my travel blog, Fottles Travels, and maintaining it as I have travelled extensively over the world has been a true passion project, something in which was awarded with being shortlisted for Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Best Travel Blog of 2014. Just as my love for travel has failed to diminish, neither has my intention to further pursue a career in writing about it.
